INTENSIVE ENGLISH PROGRAMME

The Intensive English Programme (IEP) is a short-term study programme of two (2) months designed for students who have obtained their Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) results with at least three (3) credits, but obtained Grade D in English, and have passed Mathematics. During the two (2) months of study, students will undergo intensive English language training, covering subjects such as Listening and Speaking, Reading, Writing, and Grammar.

▪ Diploma In Business Studies (DBS)

▪ Diploma In Business Information Technology (DBIT)

▪ Diploma In Computer Networking (DCN)

▪ Diploma In Computer Systems (DCS)

▪ Diploma In Creative Digital Media Production (DCD)

▪ Diploma In Landscape & Horticulture (DLH)

▪ Diploma In Entrepreneurship (DEn)

▪ Diploma In Islamic Banking & Finance (DBF)

▪ Diploma In Halal Industry (DHI)

▪ Diploma In International Business (DIB)

▪ Diploma In Marketing (DMk)

▪ Diploma In Integrated Logistics Management (DLM)

Students must obtain a minimum of three (3) credits in the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) examination, including the following subjects:

a. Bahasa Melayu;

b. Two (2) other subjects; AND

c. English (a minimum pass of Grade D)

d. Mathematics (a minimum pass).

The Intensive English Programme (IEP) aims to prepare students for:

• Clear Pathway to Diploma Programmes

Students who successfully complete the IEP and achieve the required grades are eligible to progress directly to Diploma programmes at Kolej Profesional MARA (KPM). This provides a structured and recognised academic pathway for students who need to strengthen their English proficiency before pursuing higher-level studies.

• Improved English Proficiency Through Intensive Training

The programme offers intensive instruction in core English skills—Listening and Speaking, Reading, Writing, and Grammar—within a short two-month period. This focused approach helps students rapidly improve their language competence, which is essential for success in diploma-level studies.
